You know that saying, don’t compare yourself in your losing season so someone in their winning season? Well, I’m coming out of one hell of a losing season and I wanted to share it because who knows…. It might make someone else feel ok about their situation. 

This is another one of those episodes where I broach a scary topic. Scary because I’m just starting out on my DEI journey (diversity, equity, inclusivity) and like many others, I have a fear of saying the ‘wrong thing’.

Yeah, we know, it’s all about humanising your brand. Your audience wants to see YOU! People buy from people and all of that.  

There aren’t too many people that have earned the right to label themselves as ‘inspired’ AND a ‘warrior’ all in one sentence. But there is zero doubt that Lisa DelFante does. 

Oh mate, I used to be the person that absolutely took the piss out of people with food intolerances. Gluten free you say – meh! WHATEVER! Until my own gut health kicked me in the balls. Talk about Karma.

It’s competitive and without a doubt, one of the most important industries in Australian business. After all, what is more precious than our snotty nosed kids? I don’t know about you, but I struggle to look after my own, so I take my hat off to the everyday hero’s operating our overflowing day care centres.  

It’s safe to say MOST businesses get frustrated with social media and building an online presence. When you’re not seeing a lot of action or engagement, it’s understandable you might want to throw your phone through a window.
