Once upon a time, in the early stages of starting my business I was trying to get new customers. In this instance it was brides I was after. I took a deep breath, I wrote a cheque (not even kidding, an actual cheque) for 3k and took a full page add in a leading local bridal mag (full disclosure this was like 7 years ago). Guess how many customers I got?
As a small business advocate, hater of popularity contests and lover of a good “underdog” success story, no one is more thrilled to see the shift in how businesses view bloggers than me. Step aside top dogs because the micro blogger in on the rise.
Well. This could be the start of something kinda wonderful. A dream two years in the making. With 7 kids and 4 businesses to run between us, you must know it took pure passion and vision to make a difference, to bring B Directory into fruition amongst our worlds of chaos.
